Laudário MCP: connect Claude and ChatGPT to your schedule, patients and reports

A pioneer in MCP among reporting systems, Laudário connects Claude or ChatGPT to your account to answer about the schedule, patients, reports, billing and even exam images, only with the access you authorize. See dozens of examples.

The Laudário MCP connects Claude or ChatGPT to your account to answer, in plain language, questions about the clinic's schedule, patients, reports and billing. You ask "who am I seeing tomorrow afternoon?" or "does any report from today mention a hernia?" and the assistant looks it up in Laudário on the spot, only with the access you authorized.

Laudário is a pioneer in MCP among reporting and management systems for imaging clinics: it was one of the first to open the clinic's own account to Claude and ChatGPT, with access controlled by the account manager.

What MCP is

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard, created by Anthropic and also adopted by OpenAI, for connecting AI assistants to external systems. Instead of copying and pasting data into the chat, the assistant calls the system's tools and gets only what it needs to answer.

In Laudário, the MCP is read only: the assistant looks things up, but does not create, change or delete anything.

What you can ask

  • Schedule: patients for a day or a period, details of an appointment, open slots by physician and exam, and who is working each day.
  • Patients: search by name or ID number, full record and birthdays for the day or the month.
  • Reports: list of signed-off reports, the text of a report and a search for a word across all of them.
  • Exam images: the assistant pulls the saved images of an exam and looks at them, for example to find the frame where the cyst was measured. This area also has to be enabled.
  • Catalogs: exams and consultations with the duration of each, reporting physicians, insurance plans and referring physicians.
  • Finance: billing per day and the monthly result (revenue, expenses and result), if you enable that area.

Drafts are left out: the assistant only sees signed-off reports.

Examples of what to ask

Ask the way you would ask a secretary or a colleague. Some examples, grouped by who uses them most:

Front desk and schedule

  • "Who is booked tomorrow morning, with exam and insurance?"
  • "What open slots does Dr. Ana have on Thursday for a complete abdominal ultrasound?"
  • "What is the first open slot for a carotid Doppler next week?"
  • "Which of today's patients have not confirmed yet?"
  • "Does Maria Souza have any exam booked this month?"
  • "Who is working on Saturday, and at what hours?"
  • "How many patients do we have today, broken down by insurance?"
  • "Whose birthday is it today?" Handy for sending a message.
  • "How long is the second trimester anatomy scan set up for, and who does it?"
  • "Which insurance plans does the clinic accept?"

Reports

  • "Did any exam this week show kidney stones?" The assistant searches the reports for the word and shows the excerpt, so you can check whether it is a finding or a negation ("no stones are seen").
  • "Open Joana Lima's latest thyroid report and compare the nodule measurements with the previous exam."
  • "How many BI-RADS 4 reports were signed off this month?"
  • "List the patients with a TI-RADS 5 nodule in the reports from the last 60 days." Useful to check that all of them were referred.
  • "Which reports this month mention hepatic steatosis?"
  • "Summarize José Pereira's report from yesterday in plain language, so I can explain it to him."
  • "Translate Laura Martins's latest report into Spanish."
  • "Which exams has Carlos Lima had here, and what changed between them?"

Exam images (if you enable that area)

  • "Get the image of Ana Paula's cyst, I did that exam today." The assistant opens today's abdominal images, finds the frame with the measured cyst (for example, 2.9 cm in the liver) and shows just that one, noting which other images have measurements.
  • "Show me the images of Paulo Mendes's thyroid nodule from yesterday's exam."
  • "In which image of Carla Dias's obstetric scan is the cervical length measurement?"
  • "Check whether the images from Roberto Alves's exam today match the measurements in the report."
  • "Pull the right kidney images from Sônia Ramos's ultrasound yesterday."

Management and finance (if you enable that area)

  • "How much did I bill yesterday, broken down by insurance plan?"
  • "How did October's result compare with September?"
  • "How did revenue and expenses look over the last six months?"
  • "Which exams this week still have payment pending?"
  • "Which exam billed the most this month?"
  • "How many self-pay exams did we do in October?"

Security and privacy

  • Read only: no tool writes or deletes data.
  • The assistant sees only the authorized areas. Finance and images, for example, start switched off.
  • Every lookup by the assistant is logged in the account.
  • To cut off access: Settings, Integrations, Laudário MCP, Revoke.

The data the assistant looks up is then handled by Claude or ChatGPT, under each one's rules. Before connecting, check the assistant's policy and data usage options, as with any tool that handles patient data.

How Laudário helps

The MCP is one more door into what is already in Laudário: schedule, patient records, structured reports and finance in the same system. That is why the assistant answers with the clinic's real data, not with estimates.

  • A pioneer in MCP among reporting and management systems for imaging clinics.
  • Available on the Pro and Multi plans (not available for accounts in the United States).
  • Works with Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code.
