Going back to the clinic just to pick up a piece of paper is the kind of hassle patients do not forget. And the printed report gets lost, crumpled and never reaches the physician who requested it. Online delivery solves both problems, as long as it is secure and the document can be verified.
The report portal
When the report is ready, the clinic makes it available in the online report portal:
- The patient receives a WhatsApp notice with the address.
- Logs in with CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID) and password.
- Sees the report and the images the physician chose to show.
- Can show or forward it to the requesting physician without carrying paper.
If the report is corrected, the clinic updates the online version with one click. If needed, it removes access.
Direct sending by WhatsApp
For those who prefer it, the signed report PDF can be sent as a document through the clinic's WhatsApp, straight from the worklist.
Validation QR code
Every printed or PDF report carries a QR code. Whoever scans the code, whether the patient, the requesting physician, the hospital or the insurer, opens a Laudário page that confirms the document was issued by the clinic and shows its data.
- A tampered or forged report does not pass validation.
- The requester can verify without calling the clinic.
- Combined with the ICP-Brasil digital signature, the report has legal validity in digital format as well.
Precautions with online delivery
- Access must be individual, per patient, never an open public link.
- The patient must have a CPF on file.
- Choose the images that go to the patient: technical documentation images do not always help someone who is not a physician.
