Live ultrasound for the family: how BabyLive works
With BabyLive, family members who could not come to the clinic watch the obstetric ultrasound live on their phones, chat with the physician and later receive the recording and the highlights.

The father who is traveling, the grandmother who lives in another city, the sister who could not get away from work. At almost every obstetric ultrasound, someone in the family wanted to be in the room and could not. BabyLive solves this: the study is streamed live to the phone of whoever the pregnant patient invites, with nothing to install.
How it works at the clinic
- The ultrasound machine is connected to the computer through a video capture card, the same one used to record studies.
- In the Schedule, the physician turns on streaming of the obstetric study with one click.
- The system generates a link for the pregnant patient to send to the family. Whoever receives it opens it in the browser on their phone or computer, with no registration and no password.
- The image goes out in real time, with the audio from the machine: when the physician turns on Doppler, the family hears the baby's heartbeat.
What the family sees
- The study live, on the full screen of the phone.
- A chat to send messages to the physician and the pregnant patient during the study.
- Up to six people connected at the same time.
Recording and highlights
The study can be recorded. When the stream ends, the same link becomes the recording player, and the chat messages reappear at the moment they were sent. Anyone who could not watch at the time can watch later.
From the recording, the system picks out the highlights: a short video with the most beautiful moments, clips of the face, hands and feet, and a clip of the heartbeat with the recorded rate. This is the material the family shares.
The recording goes straight to the pregnant patient's phone
Once the study is finished, the recording and the highlights are sent to the Sonnari Baby app, linked by the patient's phone number. She does not need to ask for the file or wait for a WhatsApp message: she opens the app and the study is there. The app is free for the pregnant patient, on iPhone and Android.
