3D ultrasound is already moving, but the copper-colored image does not always show the family what the baby's face will look like. BabyFace 5D uses artificial intelligence to turn a 3D frame into realistic photos, which the expectant mother receives on her phone the same day.
What the expectant mother receives
- The enhanced 3D, with more sharpness and definition.
- A realistic photo of the baby's face, with the skin and features from the ultrasound.
- A photo in the crib, as the newborn would look.
- Optionally, the live photo: a short video in which the face comes to life with movement.
How it works at the clinic
- During the scan, the physician acquires the 3D of the face as usual.
- In BabyStudio, they choose the best frame. A face seen from the front, with no hand or cord in front and with fluid in front of the face gives the best result.
- The expectant mother signs the consent form and the physician confirms it in the system.
- Within a few minutes the photos are ready.
How it reaches the expectant mother
The photos go by a private link, which the clinic sends, and also appear in the Sonnari Baby app, linked by the patient's phone number, together with the BabyLive videos.
What the photo is and what it is not
The photo is an artistic interpretation made by the AI from the ultrasound image. It respects the shape of the face that the 3D showed, but it is not a diagnostic study or an exact prediction of appearance. This needs to be clear to the family, which is why the consent form is part of the flow.
- It has no diagnostic value and does not go in the report.
- Quality depends on the 3D: a poor frame produces a poor photo.
- If the AI cannot generate at least two photos, the credit is not charged.
Why offer it
